Box Score GEORGETOWN, Texas - The UT Tyler Volleyball team played Southwestern on Tuesday night, downing the Pirates in five sets. With the win UT Tyler moves to 15-1.
Tuesday's win moved #20 UT Tyler's winning streak to 10 games on the same day that the AVCA Poll ranked the Patriots at #20 for the second straight week.

The Patriots needed three-straight winning sets to come from an early 2-0 deficit. After falling in the first two sets of the night, UT Tyler rallied to take the third and fourth sets 26-24. The third and fourth set efforts forced a deciding fifth set match.
After a back and forth fifth set, the Patriots pulled in front of the Pirates in the late going to take a 15-12 victory.
Tuesday's win was the first win in program history over Southwestern.
UT Tyler held the 65-61 advantage in kills and a 104-88 advantage in digs in the win. The Patriots recorded 13 total blocks, including a team and season high 11 from
Kayla McCoy.
