Quotable (head coach Brent Porche): "When we stick to our approach and have a plan, we can be an extremely dynamic offense. Coach White got the guys together today and challenged them to be more locked in and not give away pitches to hit, and we were able to make an adjustment and really pull away. We talked as a group this morning about how we needed to bounce back and correct some of the mistakes from last night. We were able to get a lead and finally put somebody away."
"The pitching staff was electric this weekend. We were able to create some advantage counts and put people away. A big emphasis this weekend was cutting down on free passes, and Coach Vruggink and the pitching staff did a great job of being in the zone and making them earn their runs."
