TYLER, Texas -- UT Tyler notched its second Lone Star Conference victory of the season with a 1-0 victory over Texas A&M International Tuesday afternoon.

The shots were even between the teams in the first half, 4-4, and the Patriot defense preserved the shutout with five second-half saves.

From that point on, Texas A&M International managed only one more shot on goal. It came with just five minutes left in regulation, when Gabriel Gacovicaj took a chance from the left side deep in the penalty area, but his shot to the near post was stopped and covered by Eriksen to preserve the shutout.
