ARKADELPHIA, ARK. – Three goals in a span of 15 minutes in the second half of action led to UT Tyler's first loss of the 2021 season on Sunday afternoon in a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Ouachita Baptist.
The Patriots outshot the Tigers by a 30-to-12 margin, but failed to find the back of the net with those chances. A few defensive miscues and a costly turnover allowed the Tigers to strike for three quick goals beginning in the 51
st minute.
Ouachita Baptist added goals in the 61
st and 65
th minute to add to the 3-0 lead.
Sydnee Garner,
Bruna Pereira and

Robinson took a team high five shot attempts as 14 different Patriots recorded shot attempts. The 30 total shots eclipse the previous season high, and stands as the highest total for the program in Division II competition.
UT Tyler will now shift their focus to Lone Star Conference play following Sunday's result, as Texas A&M International will make their way to Tyler for the LSC opener for both sides.
