DESTIN, FLA. – Final round play in the Emerald Coast Classic has been canceled due to inclement weather in the Destin, Fla. area.
The Patriots began play in the final 18 of the 54-hole event on Tuesday morning, but were called off the course due to inclement weather in the area. Continued heavy rains led to the cancellation of the final round, so the tournament will now stand as an official 36-hole event.
UT Tyler finishes ninth on the team leaderboard after scores of 325-293 in Sunday and Monday's opening two rounds. The Patriots pick up head-to-head victories over a pair of ranked teams in no. 40 North Georgia and no. 32 Central Oklahoma.

UT Tyler will get back on the course for their home event on Mar. 28-29 at the King-Alfred Spring Invitational at Eagles Bluff Country Club in Bullard, Texas.
