WHAT COACH MASHE IS SAYING

On the overall impact of a third straight trip to the NCAA Division II National Tournament for the program...
"I couldn't be more proud of this program and all the work that has been put in. It's not easy. This is such an amazing conference and Division II volleyball as a whole is just so competitive, so I'm proud of our team and doing what it took to put ourselves in position."

On a largely unproven roster in 2023 that solidified another national tournament appearance for the program... "This team learned from some really great players ahead of them what the standards our and what our effort of play is going to be. They've done a good job throughout the year of just leaning into that. We've had some ups and downs this season, but at the end of the day when push came to shove, we won the games we needed to. I couldn't be more proud of the way that we've had people step up when we needed them most."

On the excitement around the team to get another chance at taking down West Texas A&M... "West Texas A&M is a great team and a great program obviously with what they've done over the last couple of years. We get another opportunity to play in a great atmosphere at "The Box" and our kids overall really enjoy playing in that type of atmosphere. We're going to have to play with a nothing to lose mentality. We cannot have any fear. We can't not show up. And we have to be able to play as hard as we can."
