LAST WEEK
After some weather pushed back UT Tyler's opening series by a day, the Patriots rolled into Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to take on Oklahoma Christian in a four game set. Game one saw a slugfest through the first half of the contest, but Oklahoma Christian pulled away late with four runs in the seventh to secure a win. Another win followed in game two as the Eagles came back from an early deficit to go up 2-0 in the series. That would be the final win of the series for Oklahoma Christian, as the Patriots bats came alive over the final two games. They scored 21 runs combined over the two contests and held the Eagles to just seven runs combined to earn a series split.
