LAST TIME OUT

Last week saw the Patriots take on Ouachita Baptist and Harding. The Patriots dominated the offensive half against the Tigers, but despite outshooting them 20-7 over 90 minutes, the Patriots couldn't crack the code and find a goal. Against Harding on Saturday afternoon, an early red card from the Bisons put them behind the eight ball, and the Patriots offense kicked into high gear, putting away a pair of goals to ensure the 2-1 victory and the first ever victory over Harding as a program.

WHAT COACH JONES IS SAYING

On last weekend's matches: "I think it could have gone south, especially with how hard the opponents worked. Any time you go on the road it can be a challenge. I think the guys for the most part did what they needed to do on Saturday as a response to Thursday's match."

On looking for more out of the team: "I think history says that. This team potentially could really excel in the conference. It takes a lot more details, a lot more energy. If we just change our perspective a little bit then we could get to the pinnacle."

On the rest of the non-conference schedule against LSC opponents: "Now we're playing against conference opponents. They know us, we know them, so it comes down to just small things. I think those three teams are going to challenge us, and I'm looking forward to it and seeing how our guys respond and react a little bit."
