On a road sweep against Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M International last weekend... "I'm just very proud of the way we stepped into both of the games as a team. Our team was definitely motivated to go get a different result than the last time we made this road trip last year. We did a great job of sweeping Texas A&M-Kingsville on Friday and then I think we were alittle bit asleep in our first set against Texas A&M International, but I thought we did a really great job of responding and winning the next three to get out of there and sweep the weekend."

On the improvement and emergence of Autumn Perry and Jackie Velzis as offensive options for the Patriot offense this season... "They are both really coming on and the more options we have out there the harder it is for teams to just know who they need to key in on. Been very proud of Autumn and Jackie for just getting after it every single day and starting to produce for us the way that they are capable of. They've done a great job and we've also had some middle play start to increase and I think that's making us a harder team to defend against because we do have all three options up there and they are scoring for us."

On the importance of Senior Weekend and playing well in the final home matches of the season... "It doesn't get any easier this weekend, UT Permian Basin is a great team that's really athletic and they've done some really good things this year. Then Western New Mexico on Saturday for Senior Day. I'm so excited for our team to get to celebrate those five and come out and have a great day for them. All five of them have done incredible things for our program, a few of them being transfers and a few of them being here all four years. They're dedicated to their team, to this program and we're so proud of the contributions they have made."

LAST TIME OUT

UT Tyler finished their weekend road trip with a pair of wins after a 3-1 (19-25, 25-11, 27-25, 25-13) victory over Texas A&M International on Saturday afternoon.
