LAST TIME OUT
Last week the Patriots faced a pair of nationally ranked opponents in #24 UCCS and #2 CSU Pueblo on the road in Colorado. The Patriots battled to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Mountain Lions on Thursday night before falling 3-0 to the Thunderwolves on Saturday.
WHAT HEAD COACH KENNY JONES IS SAYING
On what he learned from his team in Colorado: "First off we went with that entire group and came back together, safe and injury free. This weekend was intentionally just to test us and see where we are and how do we deal with that top talent."
On celebrating senior day: "Really looking forward to seeing those 12 guys that have been here and gone through it. It's not easy and they've dealt with hard things. We want to celebrate them because they're a Patriot and because they're a part of us."
On the matchup with Harding: "Yeah obviously Harding gave us a really good contest last year at their place and they're going to give us another one this year. Again, we're still working on us and making sure we are getting close to our 100%. This is not just an external challenge but an internal one."
LSC PRESEASON POLL
The Patriots were selected ninth in the annual LSC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll, garnering 124 total points.
