Last week the Patriots faced off with St. Edward's on the road and UT Dallas at home. They took them both down, getting a gritty 3-2 win over the Hilltoppers and then taking a 3-0 win over the Comets back inside the HPC.
Autumn Perry,
Kota Hartman, and
Alyson Robbins each connected on at least 20 kills for the week while
Saige Rivera totaled 88 assists and
Anna Arceneaux added 37 digs.

THE LONE STAR CONFERENCE

The Patriots are undefeated in LSC play, remaining in a tie for first with Lubbock Christian, who is 5-0. Texas A&M-Kingsville, West Texas A&M, and Angelo State are each 4-1, while four more teams are tied at 3-2.

THE FALCONS

UT Permian Basin is 5-10 overall and 3-2 in LSC play. Their three wins have been over St. Edward's, Cameron, and Oklahoma Christian. As a team, the Falcons are hitting .173 as a team while posting 11 assists per set and 16.5 digs per set. Their opponents are hitting .206 with 11.2 assists per set and 15.8 digs per set.

The Falcons have four players over 100 kills on the year, and Ashlee Macias leads the quartet with a .271 hitting percentage on 118 kills. Kierra Freeman leads with 387 assists, and Isabel Rodriguez leads the team with 172 digs.

The Patriots lead the all-time record at 3-1 over the Falcons and have won each of the last three matches. The last two have come in Tyler, and the Patriots have recored a 3-1 win and a 3-0 win in those matches.

THE (RV) RAMBELLES

(RV) Angelo State is 10-6 on the year and 4-1 in LSC play. Their lone LSC setback came to Oklahoma Christian. The two teams clashed back on September 19 as part of the LSC Challenge, and the Patriots came away with a 3-2 win.

The Rambelles are hitting .229 on the year with 12.1 assists per set and 15.5 digs per set. They are holding opponents to a .145 hitting percentage with 9.7 assists per set and 14.3 digs per set.

Individually, Madi Parrish leads the team with 194 kills on a .232 attack percentage. The joint pair of Madison Scrivner and Gabi Ashcraft have each dished out over 200 assists, and Ireland Ferguson has 237 digs.

Angelo State leads the all-time series at 6-4, but the Patriots won the most recent contest. The Rambelles have had two different winning streaks of three games, and the Patriots have their own three match winning streak in 2022 and 2023.

PATRIOTS NEWS AND NOTES
- UT Tyler went 18-9 overall in 2024 with a 14-2 record in the LSC. They qualified for their 4th straight NCAA South Central Regional Tournament and finished 3rd in the LSC Standings.
- The Patriots are led by head coach Lyndsay Mashe who is in her 10th season with the program and 20th year as a head coach. She is 171-77 (.690) with the Patriots and 365-199 (.647) overall.
- Coach Mashe is joined by her husband and Associate Head Coach Kris Mashe, who has been at her side throughout all 20 years of her tenure.
- UT Tyler will return their three highest offensive players in terms of kills from 2024 as Kota Hartman, Autumn Perry, and Jackie Velzis come back. Hartman, the reigning LSC Newcomer of the Year, had 399 kills and hit .216 to average 3.87 kills per set.
- Saige Rivera, the Preseason LSC Setter of the Year, will look to build on a season that saw her total 995 assists for an average of 9.85 per set. She also had a strong year at the service line, picking up 24 aces to post the third most on the team.
- Of the 10 players that played at least 70 sets last season, seven will make their return in one of the strongest returning classes in recent seasons.
- As a team the Patriots are 8-6 in 2025 and are 4-0 in LSC play. They are hitting .212 and holding opponents to .184 while posting 12.3 assists per set, 13.1 kills per set, and 16.6 digs per set.
- Autumn Perry leads the Patriots with 160 kills and Audrey Brandon has a .416 attack percentage to lead the team with those over 20 kills. Saige Rivera has 388 assists thus far, and Anna Arceneaux has 180 total digs.
- Perry and Kota Hartman each rank inside the top 20 in total kills in the LSC, while Rivera has the fifth most assists, and both Emma Vazquez and Kaitlyn Davis rank inside the top 10 in aces. Arceneaux is ninth in total digs.
