ONWARD IN THE LSC TOURNAMENT

The Patriots began their LSC Tournament, their fourth in program history, on Saturday evening as they took on DBU on the road in Dallas, Texas. UT Tyler and DBU battled close in the contest throughout, but an 88th minute stunner from Tony Ngombi pushed UT Tyler forward into the LSC Tournament Semifinals for just the second time in program history.

That win means the Patriots will matchup with #1 seed and #8 ranked Midwestern State on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Wichita Falls, Texas.

The winner of Wednesday's game will move on to the LSC Championship to be played Saturday at the highest seed remaining's host site. They will play the winner of #3 seed Lubbock Christian and #2 St. Edward's.

LSC RECOGNITION

Luan Rangel and Sid Cleofe were recognized Tuesday afternoon with All-LSC awards. Rangel was named to the All-LSC Second Team, his first honor of his career and the highest LSC honor for a Patriots player since 2021. Cleofe was named to the LSC All-Academic Team for the second straight year, and he is now the second player in program history to earn at least two academic team nods.
