WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS – UT Tyler tennis enjoyed a sweep of UAFS on Friday as the #22 ranked women won 7-0 and the #5 ranked men won 6-1.

The #22 Patriots women would get things going quickly in doubles, as Natalia Gorzny and Paula Castellanos combined for a 6-1 win. They were followed by two more wins in the #1 and #3 lines as the Patriots swept the doubles matches to lead 1-0.

Over in singles, Gornzy kept up her blistering pace as she knocked down a 6-2, 6-0 straight sets win in less than an hour.

That win would spark a Patriots avalanche in singles as they earned all six points to pick up a 7-0 sweep.
