INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – #7 ranked and #6 seed UT Tyler men's tennis put together a dominant display in singles on their way to taking down #5 ranked and #4 seed Lubbock Christian to take fifth place at the ITA Indoor National Championships.
The Patriots would split the opening two matches of doubles, with the Chaps taking the #2 line before

That split brought the doubles point to the #1 line, where the Chaps took a 7-5 win to deliver a 1-0 lead heading into singles action.
In singles, they quickly doubled their lead, taking a straight sets win in the #1 line to move ahead 2-0 and put the Patriots on the back foot.
That win would be the last for the Chaps on the day, as the Patriots onslaught began with a 6-1, 6-4 win by
