The UT Tyler men's golf program wrapped up play at The Dewsweeper on Tuesday, finishing ninth overall at TPC San Antonio. The Patriots posted a 54-hole team total of 23 over par (887) after finishing a 16 over par final round (304).

Day two of the tournament for UT Tyler was led by Corbin Murray, who climbed 12 spots during the final round to finish tied for 34th overall at seven over par (223) for the tournament. Murray shot the Patriots' lowest score of the day with a 73, highlighted by birdies on holes one and 14.

Preston Chabaud wrapped up the tournament as the highest Patriot on the overall leader board, tying for 25th at four over par (220). Chabaud shot six over par (78) in the final round but was able to secure a birdie on hole12.

Blake Harwell and Cash Andrus each finished five over par on the day (77) and ended up tied for 44th at 10 over par (226). Harwell collected four birdies in the final round on holes one, nine, 15 and 16. Andrus was able to pick up birdies on holes six and 11.

Preston DeSerrano rounded out the lineup for UT Tyler, finishing tied for 51st at 11 over par (227). The senior posted a 5 over final round (77) but finished the tournament strong birding his final two holes.

As a team, the Patriots finished tied for fourth in the field for par three scoring. Blake Harwell tied for third overall for par three average scoring and tied for fifth with 12 birdies. Meanwhile, Corbin Murray tied for fifth with 36 pars overall.

UT Tyler will hit the links next at the D2 Shootout Sep. 27^th-29^th in Bahia Principe, Mexico at Tulum Country Club at PGA Riviera Maya.
