PRIOR TO UT TYLER: Played the past three years at Lamar, earning All-Southland Conference second team honors in 2019 along with Southland Conference All-Academic Team recognition in 2019 (first team) and 2020 (second team)… In three years at Lamar, set the program's single-season (30) and career (41) stolen base record and finished with a career .305 batting average with 112 hits and 60 runs scored… Played her freshman season at Trinity Valley College in 2017, where she batted .409 (61-for-149) with 7 doubles, 6 triples, and 17 stolen bases as she earned Team MVP, All-Region 14 first team, and All-Academic first team honors… Played four varsity seasons of softball and volleyball at Cedar Creek High School.

PERSONAL: Parents are Paul and Karen Klaus… Has two brothers (Bradley, Justin)… Served as President of Lamar University SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) during the 2019-20 school year… Was also the Athletics Scholar Chair for SOAR program… Enjoys being outdoors and painting… Identified a perfect fit academically as well as a great softball program as key factors in choosing UT Tyler… Majoring in nursing.
