AS A REDSHIRT SENIOR (2021)
Ran in one event, finishing 43rd at the Dallas Baptist Rogers XC Opener with a time of 21:04.7.
AS A SENIOR (2020)
Finished the year with three top 25 finishes... Placed a season-best 12th at the East Texas Shoot-Out with a time of 19:30.2... Placed 24th overall at the LSC Championships with a time of 23:44.8 in the 6K race.
AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Finished a season-best 5th at the UT Tyler Braveheart Invitational with a time of 21:41.4 over the 3.1 mile race... Ran a season best 6K time of 24:34.1 at the Mississippi College Invitational to finish 38th... Placed 49th at the LSC Championships
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
CROSS COUNTRY: Running in three events as a sophomore, Simmons improved her finish at the ASC Championships by more than 10 places when she was the 12
th runner to cross the finish line. She finished the 6K race with a season-best 25:49.20.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
CROSS COUNTRY: She began her collegiate career strong with her season-best 5K finish of 20:36.00 at the season opening UT Tyler Braveheart Invite. Simmons’ top 6K time came at the ETBU Tiger Invite when she crossed the finish line in 25:30.70. She also competed at the ASC Championships and NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region Championships with 6K times of 25:46.70 and 26:08.30.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
OUTDOOR: Simmons competed in four different meets in the 1,500-meters with her top time of 5:43.22 coming in her first completion at the East Texas Preseason Invitational. She also appeared once in the 800-meters, finishing in 2:55.62.
