Biography

2018: Jumping to 39 games played in his second season at UT Tyler, Sanchez recorded 127 at-bats en route to a .339 batting average. He reached base on a hot 43 times with nine doubles and a home run while also reaching on a walk 12 times. While on the base paths, Sanchez stole six bases before coming around to score 23 runs. At the end of the season, Sanchez was named to the NCAA Suaget Region All-Tournament and the NCAA DIII Championship All-Tournament teams.

2017: Sanchez recorded 10 at-bats and recorded a pair of hits, including a double. Also used often as a pinch runner, he stole four bases and scored 9 runs.
