Biography

2018: Making 11 appearances, Imig finished the year with a 6-0 record and 2.72 ERA. He was the third in the rotation getting the start in all 11 appearances. In 59.2 innings of work, he struck out 50 batters and held opponents to a .222 batting average.

2017: Did not compete. Named to the ASC All-Academic team.

2016: Imig was the team’s fourth starter making 7 starts in 13 appearances as a sophomore. He pitched 42 innings en route to a 6-2 record and 4.93 ERA while also striking out 35 batters. Imig also tossed a complete game shutout, the first of his collegiate career. At the end of the season, Imig was named to the ASC All-Academic team.

2015: As a freshman, Imig made nine appearances getting the starting nod in two contests. He finished the season with 4-0 record while also adding one save. Pitching in 23 innings, he struck out 11 batters.

Hometown: Leander, TX

Imig graduated from Leander High School in 2014. There he was
coached under Matt Gibson. In high school he was awarded 2-Time 1st
Team All-District, 2nd Team All Central Texas. He was apart of the
travel team Austin Baseball Club, and was coached by Mamon Tucker.
Was apart of the team when the UTT Patriots won the World Series in
2018.

Personal:
Parents are Laurie and David Imig, sibling to Claire Imig. Imig’s dad
was also a college athlete, he played basketball at Anoka-Ramsey
College. Imig is seeking a degree in mechanical engineering with a
double minor in finance and math. He hopes to seek a career in HVAC
sales engineering.
