Prior to UT Tyler: Played at Louisiana Tech from 2022-24 and at Sam Houston State in 2025… Recorded 51.2 innings pitched with 50 strikeouts in 5 starts at Lousiana Tech… Helped teams win 2 conference championships and made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament… Named to the CUSA Commissioner’s Honor Roll in 2022, 2023, and 2024... Redshirted in 2025 at Sam Houston State.

High School: Graduate of Midlothian HS in Midlothian, Texas… Played baseball and football… 1st Team All-District, All-Ellis County 1st Team… Played travel ball for Stix Baseball and DBAT.

Personal: Son of Mistie and Dustin Copeland… Has three siblings: two sisters, Mikayla and Maddie, and one brother, Connor… Majoring in Finance… Favorite hobbies are golf, fishing, and hunting… Favorite food is steak with a sweet tea… Played summer ball in Alaska… Played in 2 NCAA regionals… Chose UT Tyler because of the great coaching staff and the successful program with a great group of guys… Favorite thing about UT Tyler is how close together the team is.
