University of Texas at Tyler Athletics

Prior to UT Tyler: Played at Vernon College in 2023-2024 and at Texas State in 2025... At Vernon College, he appeared in 31 games, making 24 starts and pitching to a 10-7 record with one save and two complete games... Threw 111.2 innings with a 5.00 ERA while striking out 120 batters and allowing 62 earned runs... With Texas State, threw four games in relief... Had a 5.49 ERA over 4.2 innings with five strikeouts and held opponents to a .188 average. 

High School: Graduate of Marcus High School… Played baseball… Earned Second Team All-District honors as an outfielder… Played travel baseball for Stix Scout.

Personal: Son of Lynn and Rick Lawton… Has one older brother, Johnathon… Majoring in Business… Naturally left-handed but was taught to write right-handed in preschool… Favorite drink is Green Apple Jolly Rancher C4… Chose UT Tyler for the great culture and baseball program… Favorite thing about UT Tyler is the baseball program.
