AS A JUNIOR (2025): Did not participate in the 2025 season due to a medical redshirt.

Prior to UT Tyler: Played at Cameron University from 2023-24… Hit .260 over 77 total games with 72 starts... Added 17 doubles, 10 homers, and a .438 slugging percentage over two seasons... Hit all 10 homers in the 2024 season, finishing top 10 in the LSC.

High School: Graduate of Southlake Carroll HS in Southlake, Texas… Played baseball… 2022 State Championship, All-District selection… Played travel ball for the Fort Worth Cats during the summers.

Personal: Son of Jaye and Kenny Simpson… Has one younger sister, Anna… Majoring in Accounting… Favorite hobby is playing video games… Favorite food is steak with a sweet tea… Has been to 26 out of 30 MLB stadiums (missing Baltimore, Minnesota, Miami, and Tampa Bay)… First varsity start in high school played at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers… Chose UT Tyler to join an elite program with a winning culture, dedicated to achieving something bigger than ourselves… Favorite thing about UT Tyler is coming to work every day with the guys and the great community.
