Started in 36 games... Finished with 86 hits, 46 RBIs, 18 doubles, 4 triples, and 4 home runs... Led the team in batting average with .410... Had 4 hits, 2 doubles, and a triple on 5/23/25 against Angelo St... Recorded 16 stolen bases... Finished the season with a .520 on base percentage.
Prior to UT Tyler: Played at Baton Rouge Community College… Earned All-Region honors.
High School: Graduate of Saint Thomas More… Played baseball and football… In baseball, earned First Team All-District honors three times, was named District MVP, and received Honorable Mention All-State recognition… In football, earned Honorable Mention All-District honors… Played travel baseball for the Louisiana Cajuns.
Personal: Son of Paula and Jason Hornback… Has one brother… Majoring in Accounting… Played baseball in Canada, attended the Connie Mack World Series, and is followed on Instagram by Roger Clemens thanks to Brody Logsdon… Favorite hobby is hunting… Favorite food is steak cooked medium rare… Chose UT Tyler because he loved the culture the coaches described and the bond within the team… Favorite thing about UT Tyler is his teammates, coaches, and everything they are blessed to have.
