Personal: Son of Michelle and Shane... Has one brother, Luke... Majoring in finance... Attended St. David's in South Africa and Vancouver College in Canada... Played soccer, swimming, water polo, rugby, cross country and American football... Earned provincial honors in soccer, rugby and swimming in South Africa, was recognized with All Honors in Sports, was named Varsity Soccer MVP in back-to-back seasons and served as varsity captain, becoming the first Indian and African captain... Represented Provincial Soccer, Provincial Rugby and Provincial Swimming in South Africa, as well as Orlando Pirates FC in South Africa, Girona FC U18 in Spain, CF Quart de les Valls in Spain and UD Vall D'Uxo in Spain... Has lived in three countries, South Africa, Canada and Spain, and five different cities, competed in four different provincial sports, had a great-grandfather who was "adopted" by Mahatma Gandhi and once had a pet hedgehog... His family played a significant role in the fight against apartheid in South Africa and the pursuit of equal rights... Enjoys traveling, cooking and baking... Favorite foods include chicken wings, burgers and ribs, and his favorite drink is coffee... Chose UT Tyler because the university has provided opportunities to grow both on and off the field, with the culture, environment and values making it the right place to continue his career as a footballer, student and person... Favorite thing about UT Tyler is the soccer program... Gives thanks to God for bringing him to UT Tyler and for blessing him with a great family.
