Biography
2017-18: One of the team leaders in singles play, Rodriguez had the second-most wins for the Patriots. Playing in the top half of the lineup, Rodriguez had a 12-6 record with seven victories coming at number-three. He also led UT Tyler in doubles wins with a 14-7 record for the season. Most of his wins came at number-two with Gabriel Hidalgo as the duo earned a 12-6 mark together. Named ASC All-Conference at the end of the season.
2016-17: Seeing action mainly at number-three singles, Rodriguez had a 15-4 overall singles record to lead the team in wins. He played in just one doubles competition getting a win at number-three with Jake Cunningham. At the end of the season, Rodriguez was named the ASC East Division Freshman of the Year and was honored on the ASC All-Tournament team. He was also named ASC All-Conference and All-East Division.
