2017-18: Hidalgo led the Patriots with a 15-6 mark in singles action including a 6-0 combined record at number-one and two. He was also a leader in doubles competition with the second most wins for the Patriots. Playing at number-one and two, Hidalgo finished the season with a 13-9 doubles mark with a 13-6 record alongside Daniel Rodriguez. Named ASC All-Conference, ASC All-East Division, and the ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year.

2016-17: Finishing singles play with an 8-1 record, Hidalgo went undefeated in the top-five positions. He saw the most action at number-four with a 3-0 record. With a 15-2 mark in doubles play, his .882 season win percentage is the second-best in program history. Despite going 3-0 at number-one doubles, most of his wins came at number-three with a 10-1 record. The duo of Hidalgo and Ryan Elwood went 7-0 on the season. He was named ASC All-Conference and ASC All-East Division at the end of the regular season.
