PERSONAL: Harkrider is the daughter of Ronnie and Debbie, and she has two sisters, Stephanie and Amanda. She attended Permian High School in Odessa, Texas, where she played three seasons of varsity softball as an infielder for coach Kristen Williams. She helped lead Permian to consecutive District 2-6A titles. As a junior in 2018, she batted .418 with 9 home runs and 59 RBIs. She chose UT Tyler because she enjoys the campus and family atmosphere. She is majoring in sports management and would like to pursue a graduate business degree. education and would like to teach at the elementary school level after graduation.
