AS A JUNIOR (2021):
Appeared in 40 games making 40 starts in those games... Batted .298 (34-114) on the season with four home runs and 27 RBIs... Had a .333 on base percentage and struck out just nine times... Third on the team in hits and RBIs... Against Texas A&M-Commerce on 5/1/2021 she went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs as well as one run scored.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2020):
Started all 20 games and finished among the team leaders in most offensive categories… Batted .377 (23-for-61) with 10 runs, 7 doubles, 2 home runs, and 21 RBIs… Also drew 8 walks and was hit by pitch 3 times… Tied for the team lead in hits (23) and doubles (7) and ranked second in batting average and RBIs… Collected 7 multi-hit games, including a pair of 3-hit performances… Went 3-for-3 in the season-opening 8-1 win over Oklahoma Baptist and went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs in the Patriots’ 17-15 win over No. 23-ranked Arkansas Tech… Earned Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition in the fall and spring semesters, helping UT Tyler claim the 2019-20 LSC Softball Academic Team Championship.

AS A FRESHMAN (2019):
Named All-ASC first team shortstop… Played and started all 40 games… One of four regular starters to finish the season batting over .400, finishing with a .404 average (44-for-109) with 8 doubles, 26 runs, and 19 RBIs… Recorded 12 multi-hit games, including 4 games with 3 hits… Finished the season on a 14-game hitting streak, batting .511 (23-for-45) during the stretch with 14 runs, 6 doubles and 11 RBIs… Struck out just twice, ranking among Division III’s toughest players to strike out as one of just 33 players throughout Division III with two or fewer strikeouts in at least 100 at-bats… Posted a .957 fielding percentage and led the team in assists (83)… Claimed ASC All-Academic Team honors.

2018: Appeared in 25 games, recording 11 hits for a .367 batting average. She recorded six RBIs and added four more runs scored in 30 at-bats.

PERSONAL: Dominguez is the daughter of Jennifer Halsell and Christina Cruz and a sister to Noah Vasquez and Joshua Dominguez. She played her high school softball at Austin High School where she played for Kristen Lozano. Dominguez is studying kinesiology and plans to become a softball coach after graduation. She chose UT Tyler for the outstanding facilities, coaching staff, and great campus. She wanted to continue her softball career at a high level with her best friend.
