AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2021):
Appeared in 5 games recording a 1.40 ERA over five innings pitched... Gave up seven hits but just one run while also recording two strikeouts. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2020):
Notched a 1-0 record in 4 appearances with 1 start in her freshman season… Collected the win in relief in her collegiate debut when she tossed 3.1 innings of no-hit shutout relief with 4 strikeouts in the season-opening 8-1 win over Oklahoma Baptist… Made 3 more appearances totaling 1.1 innings… Earned LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition in the spring semester.

PERSONAL: McAlexander is the daughter of Brian and Karen, and she has two sisters, Emily and Haley. She attended New Boston High School in New Boston, Texas, where she was a three-sport athlete. She played four years of varsity softball for Coach Haylee Houston, as well as four years in track and field as a sprinter and jumper along with three years of varsity volleyball. She was involved in FCA and student council while maintaining a 4.0 GPA in high school. She chose UT Tyler because of the proximity to home and the campus. She admires the softball program at UT Tyler and her teammates. She is majoring in biology plans to pursue a career as an orthodontist after graduation.
