2018: Junkin pitched two innings during the season, striking out two batters.

PERSONAL: Junkin is the daughter of Tom and Jamie. She attended Liberty Hill High School where she played for Charice Hankins. Her father Tom played Baseball where he pitched for Schreiner. Junkin is studying Nursing and plans to become a Pediatric Nurse with the goal of earning a Masters Degree from UT Austin and become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Junkin chose UT Tyler for the beautiful atmosphere, inviting people, outstanding coaching staff, and highly competitive softball and nursing programs. She always knew she wanted to end up at UT Tyler and is thankful to turn those dreams into reality.
