2018: Recording 47 hits in 144 at-bats, Gonzalez batted .326 in her first season as a Patriot. She had 15 extra base hits including 13 doubles and a pair of homeruns. In the process, she drove in 37 RBI’S and came around to score 24 more runs of her own. At the end of the season, Gonzalez was named first team All-ASC.

PERSONAL: Gonzales is a daughter of Charles and Olivia and a sister to Andrea, Victoria, and Andruw. Her cousin Vanessa Carrizales played at UT Tyler from 2012-2016 and she currently plays with her sister Andrea at UT Tyler. Gonzales is studying Kinesiology and plans to become a Physical Therapist after her time at UT Tyler. She chose UT Tyler because she wanted to continue her academic and softball career at a higher level. Her education gave her a solid foundation in the Kinesiolgy field and she is glad she decided to play at UT Tyler. She wanted to go to school where she could put the things she has learned into practice and develop her skills even further.
