2018: Batting .392 in 143 at-bats, Gonzalez appeared in all 49 games over the course of the season. She recorded the third-most homeruns on the team with eight and also added 11 doubles and a triple. Her 47 RBI’s were also third most on the team while her 44 runs scored were second-most among Patriot hitters. Her efforts as a junior earned her NFCA All-Region honors while she was also named first team All-ASC.

PERSONAL: Victoria is the daughter of Charles and Olivia and sister to Andrea, Theresa, and Andruw. Her cousin Vanessa Carrizales played at UT Tyler from 2012-2016 and she currently plays at UT Tyler with her sister Theresa. Gonzales is studying Kinesiology and plans to become a physical therapist after her time at UT Tyler.  She chose UT Tyler to further her academic and athletic career. She said the transition from a junior college was easy because the campus is easy to navigate and the students and staff are very helpful.
