PRIOR TO UT TYLER: Named the Conference Pitcher of the Year in both seasons at San Jacinto Junior College... Earned First Team All-Region honors in both seasons as well... Was the Region XIV Pitcher of the Year in 2023... Finished the 2023 season with a 19-2 record and a 1.50 ERA.

PERSONAL: Parents are Peggy and Howard Haygood... Majoring in criminal justice with a minor in biology... Plans on pursing a career to become a game warden... Chose UT Tyler because it felt like a home away from home.
