OUTDOOR: To begin her freshman season, McGeary earned victories in the shot put and discus at the East Texas Preseason Invite. Her toss of 130’03.00” in the discus would be her best throw of the season. McGeary went on to finish fourth in the shot put at the ASC Championships when she recorded her best mark of the season with a toss of 39’01.75”. Two weeks later, she finished sixth at the Tom Tellez Invite with a season-best hammer throw mark of 148’01.00”. For the season, McGeray earned top-10 finishes in each event she participated in totaling 18.
