2018-19
CROSS COUNTRY: Running in three events as a sophomore, Simmons improved her finish at the ASC Championships by more than 10 places when she was the 12th runner to cross the finish line. She finished the 6K race with a season-best 25:49.20.
2017-18
CROSS COUNTRY: She began her collegiate career strong with her season-best 5K finish of 20:36.00 at the season opening UT Tyler Braveheart Invite. Simmons’ top 6K time came at the ETBU Tiger Invite when she crossed the finish line in 25:30.70. She also competed at the ASC Championships and NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region Championships with 6K times of 25:46.70 and 26:08.30.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
OUTDOOR: Simmons competed in four different meets in the 1,500-meters with her top time of 5:43.22 coming in her first completion at the East Texas Preseason Invitational. She also appeared once in the 800-meters, finishing in 2:55.62.
