2018-19
CROSS COUNTRY: Salem ran at three meets as a junior highlighted by career-bests in 5K and 6K races. She opened the season with a 5K time of 20:18.60 at the Chile Pepper XC Invite. Just two weeks later, she crossed the finish line in 24:51.30 at the Jim Drews/Tori Newbauer Invite 5K race. At the ASC Championships, she finished in 24:51.30.
2017-18
CROSS COUNTRY: At the season opening UT Tyler Braveheart Invite, Salem finished with the best 5K time of her career crossing the finish line in 22:18.40. Her first 6K race of the season was at the ETBU Tiger Invite where she recorded a career-best time of 25:41.80 to finish 18
th. Salem competed at both the ASC Championships and the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Region Championships with 6K times of 26:18.20 and 27:20.70.
INDOOR: Salem ran at just one meet finishing the 800-meters at the UCO Open in 2:38.07. She also helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a sixth-place finish at the same meet with a time of 2:38.07.
OUTDOOR: Competing at four meets, she helped the distance medley relay team to a victory at the East Texas Preseason Invite with a time of 14:36.22. She competed twice in the 800-meters with a season best time of 2:39.27 at the Marc Randle Classic while also running in the 400-meters on one occasion.
2016-17
CROSS COUNTRY: In her first collegiate season, Salem finished 27
th at the ASC Championships with a time of 26:49.40 in the 6K race. He season-best 6K time came at the ETBU Texas NCAA III Championship when she finished in 23
rd with a time of 26:15.90. In her lone 5K race was the UT Tyler Braveheart Invite where she finished in 22:42.40.
INDOOR: Competing at two meets, Salem appeared in the 200-meters twice with a top time of 28.16 seconds at the Texas A&M Aggie Twilight. She also competed in the 400-meters at the same meet and the 800-meters at the MSSU Southern Invite.
OUTDOOR: Salem competed in the 400 and 800-meters and with the Patriot Relay teams during her first season. Her best 800-meter finish of the season came in her first performance with a time of 2:29.91 at the Marc Randle Classic. Running the 400-meters just once, Salem recorded a time of 1:03.47 at the East Texas Invite. At the ASC Championships, she defeated the field in the 800-meters for her lone victory of the season and ran with the 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relay teams.
