Claire Cannon joins the UT Tyler softball program as their new Director of Operations for the 2025-26 season.
Cannon previously served in an equipment manager and operations intern role with Texas A&M softball over the last two and a half years. While with the Aggies, Cannon was responsible for team gear and inventory throughout her tenure, but in the spring of 2025 she assisted with the Director of Operations in team travel, logistics management, practice and facility schedules, and pregame and postgame setup.
She has also served as a camp counselor with Pine Cove Camps in Tyler, Texas and as an assistant tournament director with Cowart Sports Events.
She is a graduate of Texas A&M with a bachelors in sport management and originally hails from Bullard, Texas.
