Laurel Trail just completed her second season as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at UT Tyler and fourth year overall working with the Patriot Athletic Training program in the Fall of 2022 where her primary sports will be softball and men's and women's cross country.
Trail previously served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with UT Tyler from 2018-20. She spent those years as a contracted athletic trainer through Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health Systems and worked as the primary trainer with men's soccer, women's basketball and spirit squad.
She worked as a teacher's assistant in addition to serving as the primary trainer for multiple sports during her time at UT Tyler, and was on the medical staff throughout the Division III Softball National Championship Tournament, hosted by the Patriots.
Following her time at UT Tyler, Trail held the Head Athletic Trainer position at Jacksonville College during the 2020-21 season. She oversaw the athletic training supervision of the school's 12 intercollegiate sports, and spent time as an adjunct faculty member for the physical education department on campus.Â
Trail earned her Master's of Public Administration in Healthcare Management from Liberty University in 2020 and holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Grand Canyon University as well.Â
She is a a licensed athletic trainer, CPR/AED/First Aid certified, a Bowenwork Practitioner, a Basic IASTMÂ Practitioner, and a Stop the Bleed Instructor.
