RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Tyler Men's Soccer team took on The University of Texas at Dallas on Saturday night. The Patriots defeated the Comets 2-0 and move to 5-1-0 on the season.

Mother Nature did not phase the Patriots as
Erik Macias opened the scoring for UT Tyler in the 13th minute of play.
Mark Guerva would play a corner kick into the box which was redirected to the back of the net by Macias. The corner kick connection would give UT Tyler an early 1-0 lead.

Just three minutes after the second half whistle blew
Lucas Pereira would net UT Tyler's second goal of the night. Pereira's fifth goal of the season came inside the six yard box, putting UT Tyler up 2-0.
