RICHARDSON, Texas - The UT Tyler Women's Soccer team continued play on the road with a matchup against UT Dallas on Saturday night. The Patriots fell 0-2, moving to 4-1 on the season.
A game that was scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. the opening whistle blew around 6:15 due to storms in the area, producing lightning.
UT Tyler fired five shots in the first 45 minutes of play but just one shot would be on goal.
UT Dallas would score in the 25th minute to pull ahead 1-0.
The Patriots would not find the back of the net in the second half while the Comets netted their second goal late in the second half, taking the win.
UT Tyler opens the home portion of the 2018 schedule on Thursday, September 20 at the Citizens 1st Bank-Perkins Soccer Complex. The Patriots hosted UMHB at 5:00 p.m.
