TYLER, Texas - The UT Tyler Men's Soccer team hosted Concordia University on Saturday. The Patriots and Tornadoes tied the match 1-1, moving UT Tyler to 6-1-1 overall.
Saturday's game was moved from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. due to weather in the Tyler area and moved to Tyler Junior College.
The Patriots would get on the board first in Saturday's game.
Mark Guevara played a ball in the box to
Lucas Pereira who netted his sixth goal of the season. Pereira's goal came in the 10th minute, putting UT Tyler ahead 1-0.
UT Tyler kept Concordia off the board through the first 85 minutes of action before the Tornadoes netted a goal in the 85th minute to tie the match at one.
Two overtime periods would not decide Saturday's match as UT Tyler drew their first game of the 2018 season.
UT Tyler will take on McMurry in Abilene, Texas in Thursday, September 27th. Thursday's game will begin at 7:30 p.m.
