TYLER, Texas - The #20 UT Tyler Volleyball team hosted Louisiana College in the final game of their three-game hone stand on Saturday afternoon. The Patriots defeated the Wildcats 3-1, moving to 14-1 overall. 

FIRST SET: #20 UT Tyler 22 - LC 25
The Patriots jumped ahead early in the first set but Louisiana College would come back from a eight-point deficit to take the the first set by three points. 

SECOND SET: #20 UT Tyler 25 - LC 7
UT Tyler and LC played to a three-three draw to open the second set before UT Tyler went on an eight-point run to pull ahead 11-3. A four-point run in the middle of the set and a seven-point run at the end of the set led the Patriots to a 25-7 second set win, evening the match at one. 

THIRD SET: #20 UT Tyler 25 - LC 15
The Patriots used a block from Samantha Lee and Reighanna Guzman to open the third set of the afternoon up 1-0. UT Tyler would not allow the Wildcats to tie or take a lead through the entire third set, using a four-point run at the end of the set to take a 2-1 lead and the third set 25-15. 

FOURTH SET: #20 UT Tyler 25 - LC 13
An early four-point run put the Patriots ahead 5-1 in the fourth set before an eight-point run gave the Patriots a 17-7 lead. UT Tyler would record the final three points of the fourth set to take the match 3-1. 

With the win UT Tyler moves to 14-1 overall. UT Tyler will take on Southwestern next week before playing four matches the following week. Saturday's win moves UT Tyler to 3-0 for the week and extends a win-streak to nine games.
