CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas - The UT Tyler Women's Basketball team opened a three-game week with a matchup against Ozarks on Monday night. The Patriots fell 72-75, moving to 10-7 overall.
A tight first quarter saw the Patriots and Eagles combine to score 34 points. Ozarks took the early lead, pulling ahead 6-12 with just under five minutes remaining. The Patriots responded with a 10-3 run to pull ahead 16-15 with 1:25 left on the clock. A late three put Ozarks ahead 18-16 after 10 minutes of play. Ozarks would lead by as much as 10 in the second quarter while UT Tyler cut the lead to two on separate occasions. A late free throw from
Aubree Adams cut the lead to seven before the halftime buzzer sounded.
UT Tyler cut the lead to five just over a minute into the second half before Ozarks took a 13-point lead with 5:19 remaining. A 10-3 run from UT Tyler over the final five minutes of play cut the lead to six after 30 minutes of play. The Patriots evened the game at 62 with 4:41 remaining in the fourth quarter. With just over a minute remaining, the Patriots opened a four-point lead over the Eagles. A pair of free-throws and a late jumper spoiled UT Tyler's comeback as the Eagles led by three as the final buzzer sounded.

Aubree Adams recorded a career-high 26 points in the loss. Adams added five rebounds, a block, and an assist.
Lexie Graham and
Carissa Spiker each recorded 10 points.
