LONGVIEW, Texas—The University of Texas at Tyler Women's Tennis (8-9) competed in an early afternoon road matchup against Louisiana College (2-10) Friday afternoon with the Patriots coming out on top, 9-0.
 
The Patriots got the win in all three matches played with the rest of the matches going to UT Tyler by default. The lone doubles match played saw freshman Anna Claire Gerletti (Cypress, Texas) and senior Lauren Kuhn (Carrolton, Texas) get a fast, 8-0, victory. Gerletti also won a singles match at number-two with two 6-0 wins. Freshman Chloe Chawner (Holmfirth Yorkshire, England) won her seventh match up the season at the top of the singles line up with a 6-0, 6-2 victory.
 
The Patriots will return to action on Monday when they travel to Letourneau University for a 4 p.m. match.
