The program won their first ever LSC Regular Season title after going 9-1, and the finished as runner-up at the LSC Tournament. They would go on to earn the No. 1 seed in the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament, and they knocked down No. 4 seed Lubbock Christian by a score of 4-0 to advance to the NCAA Round of 16 for the first time ever.

THE COUGARS

Azusa Pacific is 24-2 on the season and are recently coming off of winning the PacWest Tournament as well as their portion of the NCAA West Regional Tournament. Their lone two setbacks on the season came all the way back in February as they lost to Pomona-Pitzer as well as Hawaii Pacific and have now won 18 straight matches.

The Cougars are led by All-PacWest First Team selection Stina Larsson, who is 19-3 on the season and 17-3 in the #1 line and has won 12 straight matches. Larsson pairs with teammate Karola Suviste to create an All-Pacwest First Team duo that went 6-5 on the season.

The winner of Tuesday's matchup will move on to play the winner of No. 2 seed Grand Valley State and No. 15 seed Indiana (PA).
