TYLER, TEXAS – The University of Texas at Tyler Athletic Department is set to announce the winners of the various 2020-21 UT Tyler Athletic Department Annual Awards throughout the week.
 
The 15 award winners have been determined based on nomination and voting by the head coaches of the athletic department and will highlight a successful 2020-21 season for the Patriots despite the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The department as a whole showcased the ability to compete at the top of the Lone Star Conference in the institution's final season of the three-year Division II transition period and will recognize some of the best academic, individual and yearly performances by the Patriot student-athletes.
 
Award winners will be announced on uttylerpatriots.com and across the various UT Tyler Athletics social media platforms.

A.M. – Top Male and Female Individual Single-Game Performance
P.M. – Male and Female Freshman Athlete of the Year
 
FRIDAY, MAY 28
A.M. – Male and Female Service & Leadership Award
P.M. – Male and Female Athlete of the Year
