TYLER, TEXAS – UT Tyler athletics will be hosting their annual Blue Out Night inside the Herrington Patriot Center on Thursday night as the Patriots take on Cameron in men's and women's basketball.
 
The Patriots will host a pregame tailgate on the Patriot Plaza beginning at 4 p.m. prior to the women's game at 5:30 p.m. and the men's at 7:30 p.m. The tailgate will feature free food, being served by the Student Government Association
 
This year's Blue Out Night will feature even more festivities, including 200 free shirts and a pair of contests of Simon Sez, performed by Steve Max, the Master of Simon Sez, during both the women's halftime and men's halftime.
 
Steve Max has appeared in the NBA, NCAA, To Tell the Truth (ABC), Brain Games (National Geographic), and has appeared at the conference basketball tournaments for the ACC, Big 10, A-10, and SEC each year since 2008.
 
At the halftime of the women's game, UT Tyler faculty and staff will take part in their own game of Simon Sez, with the winner receiving a $100 fuel card, courtesy of DK Fuel.
 
The biggest game of Simon Sez will take place at the men's game, where the first 50 UT Tyler students to sign up at this LINK and are present at the start of the men's game will compete for a 55 inch Vizio TV.
 
Throughout the evening, all students that have checked in through Engage will be entered into a drawing to win a Skullcandy Bluetooth speaker, a UT Tyler branded Stanley cooler, two Adidas sweatsuits, a pair of Adidas Ultraboost shoes, and $250 Patriot Dining Dollars.
 
To be eligible for those prizes, students must check in through Engage and be present at the end of the men's game.
