In the second half the Hillcats wasted no time trying to get on the scoreboard by taking a shot on goal just five minutes into play. Down the stretch of the game, both teams looked to take advantage of the limited opportunities the defenses gave them. They each combined for five shots over the final 17 minutes before ending regulation all tied up.
