th minute to provide the scoring for the Patriots on a night in which UT Tyler outshot Texas Woman's by a 15-to-7 margin. The Pioneers netted the equalizer in the 66
th minute on a Bri Luna goal to bring the match to it's eventual 1-1 final tally.

UT Tyler outshot the Pioneers by an 8-to-1 margin in the opening half, helped largely in part by five Patriot corners that were a result of their constant pressure on the Texas Woman's backline.
The Pioneers made the most of their best opportunity of the night to tie the match at the midway stages of the second half with the equalizer, but were then forced to hang on to the tie as the Patriots regained control in the late stages with three shots on target in the final 15 minutes of action.
Texas Woman's managed just three shots on target for the match, while the Patriots totaled seven attempts on net, including a pair from junior
Sydnee Garner in the final 10 minutes of play.
Garner led UT Tyler with three shots and served as one of five Patriots with multiple efforts in the match. Keeper
Camri Cecil made a pair of saves on the other two Pioneer attempts on net.
UT Tyler now sits a point out of the magic seventh spot in the LSC standings with nine points in league play as seven teams will qualify for the 2022 LSC Women's Soccer Championship at season's end.
The Patriots will attempt to jump back into the top seven on Saturday afternoon in a 12 p.m. start against Angelo State at home.
