TYLER, TEXAS – UT Tyler tennis is all set to host their first home match of the year and it will also serve as the final non-conference match of the season as both Patriots tennis programs will dive headfirst into the LSC slate starting next week.
SERIES HISTORY
Both Patriots programs have faced off against the Warhawks just one time in their histories, with each of those matches coming on Feb. 14, 2020. Auburn Montgomery took both of those contests, with the women prevailing 6-1 and the men's team took home a 4-3 victory. Of those previous matches,

Chloe Dix are the only members of the Patriots that are still competing for UT Tyler.
THE SCOUTING REPORT
The Auburn Montgomery men sit at 5-4 on the season and have played their last four matches at an even 2-2. Their most recent match came against Christian Brothers on March 16, in which the Warhawks came away with a 7-0 victory.
Leading the Warhawks in singles so far this season is David Rieme. Rieme is a sophomore from Valais, Switzerland and holds a 6-2 record in singles play. He has also won his last four matches, with only one of those going to a third set.
In doubles, Rieme has paired with Muhamad Bedwan to create a solid doubles pair. The duo is 4-3 on the season but have gone 2-2 over their last four matches together.
The ladies of Auburn Montgomery are 7-2 on the year and hold a victory over #6 Flagler College and LSC foe Texas A&M-Kingsville. The ladies program are winners of five of their last six matches and most recently won 6-1 over Christian Brothers on Wednesday.
Estefania Garcia leads the way for the Warhawks in singles with an impressive 8-1 record, with all of those coming in the #2 singles position. She was won four of her last five matches, with two of those going to three sets.
In doubles, Isabella Pinto and Alba De La Torre have combined to go 6-0 so far this year. The pair have been dominant, going to a tiebreaker just one time on the season, and only giving up three or more games just twice on the year.
UPCOMING CONFERENCE ACTION
Following the matches against Auburn Montgomery, both Patriots programs will begin preparations for LSC competition. Both teams will begin their slates with a Mar. 25 match on the road in Lawton, Oklahoma to take on Cameron. On Mar. 26, both programs will head north to Arkansas to take on UAFS to wrap up the first weekend of play.
On the men's side, the Patriots will play seven matches in total against LSC opponents as they look to defense their LSC regular season title from the 2021 season. For the women's program, they will play nine matches as they look to improve upon their fourth place finish from last year's regular season standings.
